Questions about your prescription, delivery, payment, or how the pharmacy works. If you can't find what you're looking for, our pharmacist team is here to help.
When your Naturecan Clinic doctor issues a prescription, we receive an electronic notification immediately. Your doctor also sends a wet-signed FP10 prescription form to us by Royal Mail.
We cannot dispense your medication until the physical FP10 has arrived and been verified by our pharmacist. This is a legal requirement for Schedule 2 controlled drugs. We will contact you to confirm once your FP10 has arrived and your order is being prepared.
How long does it take from prescription to delivery?
+
For initial prescriptions, the process typically takes 3–5 working days from the date your prescription is issued. This allows time for:
Your doctor's FP10 to reach us by Royal Mail (1–2 days)
Pharmacist verification and dispensing (same day on receipt)
Payment confirmation (we'll send you a link)
Royal Mail Tracked & Signed delivery (1–2 days)
For repeat prescriptions, it's faster — the pharmacist signs your FP10 directly at the pharmacy, so we can often dispatch same day once payment is confirmed.
My prescription is valid for 28 days — what does that mean?
+
UK medical cannabis prescriptions are valid for 28 days from the date they are issued. We must dispense your medication within that window — prescriptions cannot be fulfilled after they expire.
If your prescription expires before we receive your FP10 or before payment is confirmed, a new prescription will need to be issued by your doctor. Please ensure payment is completed promptly once you receive the payment link from us.
Can I use a prescription from a different clinic?
+
Naturecan Pharmacy currently dispenses prescriptions issued by Naturecan Clinic (Ropana Clinics Ltd) only. If you hold a prescription from another clinic and would like to transfer to Naturecan, you can do so through Naturecan Clinic's transfer process — transfers from other clinics are free.

Delivery
How is my medication delivered?
+
All orders are dispatched by Royal Mail Tracked & Signed. Delivery is to a named individual only — the person named on the prescription. A signature is required on receipt, and Royal Mail may ask for photographic ID.
Your medication is sent in plain, discreet outer packaging. There is no branding or labelling on the outside of the parcel that would indicate the contents.
What happens if I miss my delivery?
+
If Royal Mail cannot deliver your parcel, they will leave a card with instructions to collect it from your local delivery office or to rearrange delivery. As medical cannabis is a controlled drug, it cannot be left with a neighbour or in a safe place.
You must collect your parcel with valid photographic ID within the timeframe specified by Royal Mail. If the parcel is returned to us uncollected, please contact our team and we will advise next steps. A redelivery fee may apply.
Do you deliver to all UK addresses?
+
Yes — we deliver to all Royal Mail-served addresses across mainland UK, Northern Ireland, and most Scottish islands. We are unable to deliver to addresses outside the United Kingdom, including the Channel Islands and Isle of Man.
Can I travel with my medical cannabis?
+
Within the UK, you may travel with your prescribed medical cannabis, provided you carry your prescription and/or titration letter. We recommend keeping your medication in its original labelled packaging at all times.
payments
Payment & Klarna
What payment methods do you accept?
+
We accept all major credit and debit cards, and Klarna for buy now, pay later. Payment is taken at the point of dispensing — you will receive a secure payment link by email once your prescription has been verified and your order is ready to dispatch.
We are unable to dispatch medication until payment has been confirmed. This is a legal requirement — medical cannabis is a controlled drug and cannot be released without payment secured.
How does Klarna work for my prescription?
+
Naturecan Pharmacy is the first UK medical cannabis pharmacy to offer Klarna. When you receive your payment link, you can choose to pay with Klarna instead of paying in full upfront.
Pay in 3
— split your payment into three equal instalments, interest-free
Pay in 30 days
— receive your medication now and pay within 30 days, interest-free
Klarna's approval is subject to their standard credit checks. If Klarna is not approved, you can pay by card instead.
How much does my medication cost?
+
The cost of your medication depends on the specific products prescribed, the quantities, and the formulations. Your doctor will discuss available products with you during your consultation.
Separately, Naturecan Clinic charges a consultation fee — £70 as a one-off annual fee, or £9.99 per month by subscription. The consultation fee and medication costs are separate charges.

Repeat Prescriptions
What is a repeat prescription?
+
Once you are on an approved shared care plan, you can request a repeat prescription without needing to see a doctor each time. Instead, our prescribing pharmacist reviews your request and, if appropriate, issues the prescription directly at the pharmacy on your doctor's behalf.
This is much faster than an initial prescription — your FP10 is signed and ready at the pharmacy, so we can often dispatch same day once payment is confirmed.
How do I know if I'm eligible for a repeat prescription?
+
You are eligible for a repeat prescription if:
You have completed your initial consultation and at least one follow-up appointment
Your doctor has approved you for shared care — you will have been informed of this at your follow-up
Your symptoms have not significantly worsened since your last appointment
You are within your prescription cycle and your next repeat is due
Your Naturecan Clinic account is active and your fee is up to date
Can I request a different product on my repeat?
+
Repeat prescriptions are issued within the treatment parameters set by your doctor. If the product you would like falls within your approved parameters, the pharmacist can look to accommodate it but this depends on whether this product is suitable for your treatment.
If you would like a product outside your current parameters, you will need a new consultation with a doctor. Please contact Naturecan Clinic to book an appointment.

New Patients
I don't have a prescription yet — where do I start?
+
The pharmacy dispenses prescriptions issued by Naturecan Clinic. If you haven't had a consultation yet, you'll need to start there — not at the pharmacy.
Visit Naturecan Clinic to check your eligibility and book your initial consultation. Consultations are from £70 as a one-off annual fee, or £9.99 per month. Klarna is available.
I'm transferring from another clinic — how does it work?
+
Transfers from other UK medical cannabis clinics to Naturecan Clinic are free. You'll need proof of your existing patient status (your current prescription or a letter from your previous clinic). Visit Naturecan Clinic to begin.
Is medical cannabis legal in the UK?
+
Yes. Medical cannabis has been legal in the UK since November 2018. It can be prescribed by specialist doctors for certain conditions where other treatments have not been effective. Over 99% of prescriptions are issued through private clinics such as Naturecan Clinic.
Recreational cannabis remains illegal in the UK. Medical cannabis is a prescription-only medicine and can only be dispensed against a valid prescription from a licensed prescriber.
